Lee and I attended th BLue Angels airshow at the KAneohe Marine Corps Base last month. It was the first time either of us had seen anything like this and it was an amazing experience. Lee was enthralled the entire time. It was SOOOO hot and humid, but we stuck it out from 9am until 5pm!!!!! There were all sorts of performers but the BLUE ANGELS seen in the pictures were worth the 8 hour day.
Doesn't he look like a pilot? Every little (and big) boys dream is to be one of these guys...Lee included!
US before the heat took its toll. We looked pretty hagard as we left that day:-)
We got a really nice young lady to take our picture...finally no more one armed snap shots! Now for the THUNDERBIRDS!
My adorable husband as he watches the show!!!!
The planes were going way to fast for our camera, but you can see the trail of smoke they leave behind!
Nothing exciting ever happens in Hawaii...but within one month of eachother we had TWO military arishows. The first one, The Thunderbirds, performed over the waters of Waikiki Beach for the first time in 30 years. Lee, Myslef and Robert (Lee's Brother) went to see them.
