It's Mom's 64th Birthday and the day before Lee asked her, "so are you truning 29?" she acted offended and said, "what do you mean I'm 19!"...so we got her a 19 candle:-) We all got toegther at Scott's house (THANKS for always hosting, as soon as my house is done we will host!).
It was an ice cream cake from Basking Robbins and it was chocoalte cake with REese's peanut butter cup ice cream...YUM!!!!!
Hopefully her wish comes true...
Lee and I hanging out in Scott's back yard by the BBQ
As ususal...Lee is the CHEF...we were supposed to take Mom to a fancy restaraunt but she said that all she wanted for her Birthday was one of Lee's famous Ribeyes!
Mom kept complaining when I was taking pictures, becuase she had no make up on! Dad sent her to the Spa prior to the dinner so she was fresh out of the shower:-)
WOW...we really look alike in this picture! I don't think I ever saw such a strong resemblence before, although other people have told me so.
Dad always comes out and has to "check" on how the steaks are being cooked...they have to be done JUST right he says...but really he just wants to sneak a taste!
Jolene, Jordyn, Mom and Ryker (Jordyn's boyfriend) waiting for dinner.
What a cute picture...and NEITHER of us has make up on! But we still look good...Thanks to Mom and her Korean DNA! I just realized that I didn't get one picture of Scott!!!!! Well he WAS there and I was so happy that we could all be together for Mom's birthday. With them not living here anymore it is even more special to have our family dinners. I forget how old Mom and Dad are getting because they have so much energy and are so lively...but I am beginning to realize that I had better treasure each moment with them becuase time will fly by...I love you Mom...even though you give me STRESS and drive me nuts sometimes, my life wouldn't be the same without you and Dad. I owe who I am to both of you and will always count my blessings for you!
