A few weeks ago we Lee got his motorcycle "itch" (since I made him sell his a few years back) and we rented a Harley for a few days. I had NEVER been on any of the bikes he owned or rented because of my back and Im a big chicken! But he finally convinced me to try it just around the block. And boy after the first terrifying lap...I got a little more comfortable and by the third lap I was HOOKED;-)

The first day we just went to Haleiwa and back...just in case it was too uncomfortable. But the ride was GREAT and I was riding with me hands in the air in no time!!!

It is very difficult snapping a picture while were in motion but I finally got one. I have never felt so free in my life...why didn't I do this before???

My back actually did really well because the rear seat was wide enough and there was a high backrest and then with Lee holding me up front...I was snug as a bug in a rug!

There is something MUCH different about the drive when you are seeing it on a motorcycle. Everything is so much more clear and you feel like you are a part of nature.

The second day we were brave and decided to go "circle island". It was rainy and we had to stop at Walmart to get an extra bandana to cover our faces! This is one of many rainbows we saw that day (Kunia Road)...Just Heavenly Father blessing or ride;-)

We had to stop about every half hour for me to stretch and rest a bit. So i snapped a few pictures before we headed off!

I dont know what people thought when I walked into the Starbucks to use their restroom...but I don't think a "robber" would wear pink bandana's..LOL!

Let me tell you...those bandana's were a life saver! I love this picture because we both have "smiley eyes"!

We didn't quite make it full circle...we ended up going to Kunia via Wailua road and then over through the H-3 (which was beautiful) and then over to Kailua/Kaneohe Bay and then home through Kaneohe. It was a long day and after a hot shower I passed out for 10 hours!!! But it was an experience I will never forget. Just being wit the man that I love, seeing the gorgeous scenery and having nothing but your thoughts and the wind blowing past you...it was magical and I cant WAIT to do it again;-)
