Savannah's first day at Laie Elementary

Savannah looks so much like her Daddy in this picture!!! I just want to squeeze her face. Cereal AND runny eggs (over medium) was her choice for breakfast :-)
This is our cute little Princess with her new outfit and bag for the first day of school!
Bear with me as there are a ton of pictures of her but I had to make sure to get lots of them so Daddy could feel like he was here with us!  Daddy taught her to Shaka and she is so stinking cute when she does it.
The Principal, Mr. Ho (not pictured here) was at the front gate greeting everyone for the firs day of school.  I thought that was REALLY nice!
I was holding back tears as we walked her to class...I have lots of fond memories of walking to school as a child!
In front of Mrs. Kitigawa's classroom!
Mommy has been through this a few times already so she's a pro!
Aunty Mibi is a big baby...I feel like I'm taking her for her first day of Kindegarten!
Mrs. Kitigawa seems very nice and when we said goodbye it took all my energy not to burst into tears.  I just can't believe that she is here and going to my elementary school!!!  I also was a little sad because I wished her Daddy was here:-(
We got to school really early so when we came back, the neighbor girls were getting pictures taken so I snapped one too! I just love them all!!!
I went and picked Savannah up and the girls showed her where the flagpole is...so that they can meet there after school everyday to walk home together!
I used to play "change poles" in this very walkways as a child...Ihave such good memories of Laie Elementary and I am so grateful that we live here and Savannah can attend this school!
This is her cute Student Planner...super cute and something new for me!
I am looking forward to a momentous year for Savannah and finally being able to really be a part of her daily life.  I am so grateful that her Mother decided to move here and that HOPEFULLY she will settle here forever and we can have our baby with us EVERYDAY!

I'm still playing catch-up, but those pics make me homesick! When did they build a wall around the school? Is that on Hale La'a? Looks so different! It's been way too long since I've been there!
