It's the simple things that count...

I do not like store bought cakes...there's nothing better than a homemade chocolate cake. So for my Birthday I decided that I was going to make my cake. Lee was appalled at the thought of me baking my own cake so I told him that if he woudl let me bake it, then he could decorate it. So her ran to the store and came home with a cake decorating kit, two types of icing, red roses and two greeting cards. Oh and Kung Fu Panda (yay).
I think it came out GREAT...and it tasted HEAVENLY. I about cried when I saw his decoration. It is pure and simple and I loved it!!! I also think t was cute that he put Mibi H. (he always likes to add the HARP to my name...like planting a flag in the ground to claim his land...LOL)
P.S. I have a scret recipe for turning a box cake into the moistest and fluffiest cake EVER...I might share it if you email me:-)
I made a wish and blew out my candles and it was a perfect Birthday cake. Thanks Honey for being the type of guy who would humor his wife and decorate his very frst cake for her!!! You did aan awesome job and it was te best cake Iahve ever gotten for my birthday.

Mibi--what is a birthday without cake! Looks so yummy. My sis made me a chocolate cake (I think they call it Better-than-sex cake) and it was good! So glad yours was fun and simple too...I think as we get older we're just glad to be alive, yeah?? Luv ya! Fia
PS...your secret recipe to kick up chocolate cake mix (does it involve pudding, sour cream, choc chips, etc?)??
