Thankful Thursdays!!!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL OF YOU. WE LOVE YOU AND ARE THANKFUL FOR THE ROLE THAT EACH OF YOU PLAY IN OUR LIVES!!!
On this very special Thanksgiving Thursday, I have a LOT to be thankful for:-D I am pretty sure that the handsome man in the above picture will be a permanent fixture on my Thankful Thursday list! This specific week I am thankful for my husbands conversion to the church. For his faithfulness, his strong devotion to the Savior and for his willlingness to sacrifice everything he knew for 31 years and give it all up to belong to our Saviors church!
The picture is pretty self explanatory BUT I am SOOOOOOOOOO thankful to have received my Temple Recommend this week. Although the Laie temple is closed and im not sure when and if I can get t0 Kona...Im just so grateful to be WORTHY to go and am able to help preapre my Husband to also be found worthy to enter into the Lords House. This was all I wanted for my Birthday this year and it made my Birthday that much more special.
I am so thankful for the Temple Visitors Center. It is a place that Lee and I go to often to find peace and feel the spirit and now that it is decorated for Christmas...Im never going to want to leave. There is a window with some comfy chairs that we sit in every time we go and we have a perect view of the Temple. And I just sit there and thank Heavenly Father for the blessings of the temple and pray for the day that Lee and I can be sealed. Everyone there is so kind and loving and its a place that I KNOW I can go and always leave feeling better than when I came.
I am SO thakful that Lee's Anniversary gift finally arrived undamaged. The picture doesnt do it justice but it is a 25 pound, 22" tall marble replica of the Christus statue in the visitors center as pictured above. When he saw the box he thought I ordered him a bumper for his mustang...thats how big it was to have enough wrapping around it to keep it safe:-P But when he opened it up and saw what it was...he had this awestruck look on his face and then the tears came. I never dreamed that I would ever give my husaband a statue of Christ and have it mean so much to him...and I got on my knees that night and thanked our Father in Heaven for making this moment possible!!!
I had to add this one!!!!! I am so thankful for a TURKEY that narrowly escaped being devoured raw by a hungry and very naughty Doberman!!!!! This is a picture I snapped after walking into the kitchen and seeing Kaylas front paws on the edge of the stove and her mouth about an inch from the bird. After yelling at her and her running away cause she knew she was gonna get it...she snuck back in and just sat there with her nose resting on the stove DREAMING of having a taste. FAT CHANCE MISSY:-D
