Beehive Activity and Mother's Day

For this weeks beehive's activity, we went to the Temple visitor's center and had a fireside about missionary work. It had beena while since I had gone to the visitor's center and was amazed at how beautiful it was!
I made Sheridan hop in a solo picture for me to test out which lighting settting I would use.
The Beehive's (and advisor's) witht he Sister missionaries.
Hearing the missionaries speak made me flashback to my mission. I can't believe I am one of those RM's that go on and on about my mission...telling the prospective Elders and Sisters, "Enjoy every minute because before you know it...it's over and you can never go back". I think I heard that 100 times before I left and I would always just shrug it off and now I am that person:-) I have to say htough that my mission was an awesome experience and I would do it again in a heart beat. If you are thinking of going on one, call me and I will give you 100 reasons why you should:-)
On Mother's Day I had the girls write letters and make coupons for their Mom's. Talyn was so cute about her letter...you could tell she had a lot to say and was very heartfelt in it.
As Young WOmen, we also sang in Sacrament meeting a medley of primary songs. "Mother tell me a story" and "Love is spoken here". It was arranged so beautifully and the spirit was overwhelming. The girls sounded like angels and the whole congragation was moved to tears!

Jasmine sang a duet in Sacrament meeting with her Mom as part of our musical number. I started tearing in rehearsal and didn't stop until after our performance was done:-) Jasmine has a beautiful voice and did a wonderful job!!!
Tala's mom is the Young Women's President and picking out some coupons was not so easy. Her excuse was that she all ready does so many chores that she doesn't need to provide anymore. I got her to take a few anyways...
Tara was writing to her stepmom and it was so sweet! Im so glad that she has a strong female role model in her life like Charl...who is a very smart, kind and devoted stepmom and wife!
Josie is my class president and I am so bummed that she will be graduating soon:-( Her dad spoke in sacrament meeting and seems like such a fun and sensitive dad. It shows in his daughter that he raised her well!
Sheridan is my youngest girl and I think she asked, "Do I have to do this? I all ready did something like this for my mom." four or five times. But in the end took the longest to finish her letter...as she had to decorate the envelope just right!!!
