Day 8: A moment...

Hmmmmm....well the first one that came to mind was my first kiss...but I have blogged on that before.  So as I searched my brain for a moment, I remembered when Savannah was living with me, she had to sleep with me in my bed (because her mother couldn't sleep well with Savannah in her bed...weird), which I didn't mind because I was still not used to sleeping alone.  But boy did Kayla mind!  She growled and snapped at Savannah and was NOT a happy camper!  So Kayla got booted to the living room:) So the moment I remembered was a morning that I was still asleep and Savannah ahd woken up and crawled on top of me and just laid there holding me.  It kind of startled me because she had never done that before and I wasn't sure how to react.  I have always given her lots of affection but not so much getting it back from her.  So I hugged her and said, "What's wrong stinker butt?" and she replied, "Nothing, I just want to snuggle you".  So we snuggled for quite a while and she fell back to sleep.  It became a regular habit with us, either going to bed or waking up that she would want to snuggle for as long as I would let her;) I miss her very much and hope that when she comes back she still wants to snuggle!
